Please follow the care guidelines below according to the material of your sofa.

1. General Sofa Care

• Keep your sofa away from direct sunlight, strong heat sources and excessive moisture.
• Avoid placing the sofa directly against damp walls.
• Do not sit on the armrests, backrest or other areas not designed for sitting.
• Avoid standing or jumping on the sofa.
• Do not overload or apply excessive force to recliner mechanisms.
• Keep sharp objects such as keys, scissors, buckles and pet claws away from the sofa.
• Vacuum or clean your sofa regularly to prevent dust and dirt from building up.
• If you move the sofa, lift it where possible rather than dragging it across the floor.

2. Genuine Leather Care

Genuine leather is a natural material. Slight differences in colour, grain, texture and markings are natural characteristics and are not considered defects.

For regular care:

• Wipe the surface gently with a clean, soft and dry cloth.
• Remove dust regularly using a soft brush or vacuum with a suitable upholstery attachment.
• Clean spills as soon as possible by gently blotting with a clean, dry cloth.
• For more thorough cleaning, use only a leather cleaner recommended for genuine leather.
• Test any cleaning product on a small, hidden area first.
• Do not use alcohol, bleach, thinner, strong detergents, abrasive cleaners or household chemicals.
• Avoid excessive water or soaking the leather.
• Periodic application of a suitable leather conditioner can help maintain the leather’s appearance and suppleness.

3. Fabric Care

Different fabrics require different cleaning methods. Please check the care instructions provided for your specific sofa.

For regular care:

• Vacuum regularly using a suitable upholstery attachment.
• Remove spills immediately by gently blotting with a clean, absorbent cloth.
• Do not rub aggressively, as this may spread the stain or damage the fabric.
• Use only a fabric cleaning product suitable for your particular upholstery.
• Test cleaning products on a hidden area before applying them to a visible area.
• Avoid excessive moisture, as it may cause staining, discolouration or unpleasant odours.

4. Pet-Friendly Fabric

Pet-friendly fabrics are designed to provide greater resistance to everyday wear and are generally easier to clean. However, they are not completely scratch-proof, stain-proof or damage-proof.

• Remove pet hair regularly using a vacuum or suitable lint remover.
• Clean spills and stains as soon as possible.
• Keep pets’ claws trimmed to reduce the risk of scratching or pulling the fabric.
• Do not allow pets to chew or excessively scratch the sofa.
• Use only cleaning products recommended for the specific fabric.

5. PU Leather

PU leather is designed to provide an attractive and affordable alternative to genuine leather.

• Wipe regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Dry the surface with a clean cloth after cleaning.
• Clean spills promptly.
• Do not use alcohol, bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners or strong detergents.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and heat.
• Do not use leather conditioners intended specifically for genuine leather unless they are confirmed to be suitable for PU leather.

6. Recliner Sofa Care

For manual and motorised recliners:

• Make sure there is sufficient space behind and in front of the recliner before operating it.
• Do not force the recliner mechanism if it does not operate normally.
• Do not allow children to play with the recliner mechanism.
• Keep hands, feet, pets and other objects away from moving parts when operating the recliner.
• For motorised recliners, keep electrical connections dry and away from water.
• Do not pull or carry the sofa by the electrical cable, remote control or recliner mechanism.
• If you notice unusual noise, movement or electrical problems, stop using the recliner and contact us for assistance.

7. Cushion Care

• Rotate and/or change the position of removable cushions regularly where applicable.
• Gently reshape cushions after regular use to help maintain their appearance.
• Natural settling and softening of foam and upholstery may occur with use.
• Avoid sitting repeatedly in exactly the same position, as this may result in uneven wear or compression.

8. Spills and Stains

Accidents happen. Acting quickly can help prevent permanent staining.

1. Remove any solid material carefully without spreading the stain.
2. Gently blot the affected area with a clean, dry cloth.
3. Do not rub aggressively.
4. Use only a cleaning product suitable for the upholstery material.
5. Allow the area to dry naturally.

 9. Important Note

Sofa materials naturally change with age and use. Minor changes in colour, texture, softness, wrinkles, creases and cushion firmness may occur over time and are normal characteristics of upholstered furniture.
